Sandra Wills Hannon, Ph.D., APR, founder of The Hannon Group, LLC has over 20 years experience in the areas of public relations, market research, internal communications, multicultural communications and health communications. Most recently, Sandra provided counsel to the Clinton and Bush administrations in creating advertising concepts and strategies for the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP).

Prior to forming The Hannon Group, Sandra was a Vice President at Fleishman-Hillard, a top PR firm in the country, where projects she managed received the Bronze Anvil Commendation for Excellence (Best Brochure) and the Thoth Award (for Best Brochure) from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Her focus group and research project won a Certificate of Excellence from PR Week.

Sandra has trained more than 2,000 executives in interpersonal communications, media interviewing and public speaking. Most recently, she co-designed and co-facilitated a three-day strategic analysis retreat for the D.C. Mayorﾒs Office. Currently, her team is redesigning employee manuals for D.C.'s Protective Services Police workforce.

Sandra sits on the PRSA Board of Directors. She has a Ph.D. in communications. Sandra is accredited in public relations by PRSA and is fluent in French.
