Sheri L. Singer has 25 years of award-winning public relations, marketing and communications experience. She launched Singer Communications (SC) in January 2002 specializing in strategic communications, branding, social marketing, marketing communications, media relations, research, materials development, and special events. As a virtual firm, SC has partnerships with PR professionals that if necessary can help SC achieve client goals in less time for less money.

SC clients have included Citigroup, Medtronic, Inc., Kaiser Permanente, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Frederick W. Her achievements include developing media strategy to increase media hits from 40 million to 185 million in one year; placing exclusive stories in Wall St. Journal; and managing an event that garnered 250 million media hits with 25 reporters onsite, 35 briefed by phone, and daily articles by Reuters, AP and coverage in the top 25 newspapers in the U.S, CBS, CNN, and Bloomberg.

Before starting her firm, Singer was a vice president for top 10 public relations agencies (Ketchum PR) managing accounts for clients such as Cisco Systems, Hyundai Electronics, Wyeth, Motorola, the Catholic Health Association, The World Bank, Genentech, Center for Disease and Prevention, Dow Chemical, National Institutes of Health, Novartis, Seagram Americas, Bayer, and the National Medical Association. She created and implemented a Fortune 500 firmメs most successful earned media campaign in its 100-year history with 100 million media impressions in 10 months; obtained more than four billion international media impressions in three months for a Fortune 50 firm; and served as senior strategist for the two of the largest health care litigation cases in U.S. history.

As the senior communications officer for 15 years with nonprofit organizations, Singer was responsible for all internal and external communications. She served as the managing editor of publications, was the organizational spokesperson, created media training programs, established a national Speakersメ Bureau, conducted radio/television satellite tours, and produced all collateral materials including audio/video news releases, press releases, conference promotions, op-eds, letters to the editor, backgrounders, fact sheets, biographies, white papers, testimony and speeches.

She has trained more than 5,000 professionals in 35 national and local seminars on media relations, media and message training, and how to work with the press. She authored a How to Work with the Press kit that was adopted by organizations around the country. Singer has written hundreds of articles and has served as the managing editor of more than 10 publications.

Singer serves on the IPRA board of directors. She recently was a judge for the International Business Awards. She was honored in PR Week for her contributions to a corporate public relations campaign. She captured an American Society of Association Executives Gold Circle award for revamping an organizationメs publication, and was awarded an Art Directors award for an annual report. Singer holds a B.A. from the University of Maryland and has more than 20 credits in graduate coursework.
